End of Summer Break.../Vocaloid Challenge Update

Yes, T_T classes are starting again for me tomorrow, so I just wanted to let everyone know that even though I'll be busy working on my drawing assignments (since these will be art classes), I'll most likely still be thinking about my 100 theme vocaloid challenge ideas constantly despite that. XD So far, my progress on the challenge is:

5 down, 95 to go... XD (Completed: Drenched, Lollipop, Gray, Dark, and Flowers)

I started this around July and now I have 4 done in about 1 month in a half... That means it probably took over a week to finish each one. XD I guess that's not too bad... ^^;

Here's the whole list of the 100 Themes again and the links to the completed ones. And just for the heck of it, I would love to know what theme you really want to see me do next (and who you think they should be based on), or who you really want to see me draw next (or again). XD I love feedback from my viewers. ^^ Now that I look back at the list, I actually hoped I haven't went with some of the themes or think I should have included something else... >_< I wonder if changing some now would be against the rules... <_< XD But no... I told myself I wouldn't touch the list again, so I must keep my word... XD

4/100. You are 1/25th of the way there ^^
1.5 months to finish 4 is really good imo. On average it takes me 2 weeks to get one done.
I just hope when you start school again you will still have the time to submit more artwork.

lol since you insisted. For the love of Black Rock Shooter, you gotta do the chains theme!
Alternatively, princess sounds like an easy one to do, and would like amazing if it was Miku ^^

Yea, I guess it's not too bad. XD But then again, I felt that I 'slightly' rushed through them in a way, since I wanted to get as many done as I could before classes started again. XD (I wish I would have thought about this challenge earlier.. XD) But I definitely hope I'll still have time to submit more drawings with these classes..

And yes! XD I'll have to work on the Chains theme very soon for sure! ^^ And Miku as the princess is a perfect idea! ^^ In that case, I think you already know who the prince will be. XDD

I think you are working at a good pace,
what sort of classes are these anyway? is it like your course from college?

I always tend to find time to draw even when I'm busy at uni... It's my only time to actually relax and stop thinking about stressful uni-related work. (like right now lol :XD:).

So looking forward to see your next work. ^^ Don't push yourself too much.

Well, I'm not sure how much you like Luka, but I would love to see a drawing of her in your style! :3
Or, you know...'Bandages' would also be a good one~! ;D I'm sure my fellow Taito fans and I would enjoy that. *wiggles eyebrows* XD

Yea, these are art classes at my college (intermediate painting and advanced drawing), which might not compare to real art school classes, but they actually have an Art degree here too (that I'm hoping to get.. XD). I've been taking art-related classes for about 4 years already (this semester being my last XD), but I feel that they mostly guide you rather than actually teach you how to draw. XD It's a good thing I had a lot of experience in drawing with practice through the years or I would be way behind in these classes.. XD

Oh wow, that's great you can find time to draw at uni even when you're busy. :XD: Is the Japanese studies your current major?

And I'm so glad you're looking forward to my next work. ^^ I'll try not to push myself too much. XD

Oh wow, since you speak of Luka, I was actually sketching one of her and Luki (Luke) for one of my themes. XDD But shhh, XD I was trying to keep that under wraps until/or if I actually finish it. XD Oh yes, Bandages is definitely a good one to start on soon too! XDD I just can't wait to do another Taito one! XD I'll have to try and decide which to do now, because there's so many good ideas! XD

At least what you're doing will help you with your art, mine is totally unrelated. well I hope you can get into your art degree, it would be awesome.

Nope Japanese isn't my major... my major is Biochemistry & Microbiology. Sub-major is Japanese.
I wish I could do art, I've seen art rooms on campus before. This is also my 4th year BUT unfortunately I still need to do one more subject next year before I can graduate.

Yea, I hope so too. XD It's difficult to work in these classes, because I always have the urge to make them anime (or vocaloid) related. XD I know it would probably be very inappropriate for an educational/classroom atmosphere, so I usually have to go with more generic themes to avoid weirding anyone out with my fandom.. XDD

And wow, Biochemistry & Microbiology, that's amazing!! I had to take some courses related to that in college, but must've studied ten times harder just to get good grades for those classes.. XD You're such an amazing artist for having taken no art-related art classes at all too. XDD I was almost in same position of having to wait until next year to take just one or two more classes, but (through some difficulty) I was able to work things out to get all the remaining classes I needed to graduate at the end of this year. XD
