This was actually a huge business convention for this company and the main show was in this huge indoor stadium-style room with cinema-style lights that was filled with over 25,000 people. o_o The seats went up so high just like a stadium, but a very steep one. I had to sit up there the second day when we were with our group, and when I looked down from the seat, I felt like I was going to fall down when looking down at the stage (just about the whole time
Throughout the show, they showed the new products and talked about their usage and effects. They also introduced new improvements, expansions, and new services in the business as well as talking more about the company for newcomers and how it works. They would give everyone a lunch break around 1 PM after starting around 9 AM and then we would go back to continue for about another 4 hours.. On the last day they went from around 2 PM to 7 PM without any breaks, so it was literally TORTURE for me, since by that time everything seemed so repetitive and that they just wouldn't give you a break or stop talking.. T_T I went over my limit and was going crazy in mind from the torture, while I'm usually a very patient person too.. Not only was I hungry and tired, but my mind was so worn out trying to absorb all of the non-stop information and presentations (Many huge power point ones may I add). So not only did this feel like a very 'high budget' and huge and elaborate college class, but they did try to make it more entertaining with all these colored lights, music and high-budget equipment, screens, and stage sets. (And on a random note, they played a lot of random popular hit songs as well techno ones and remixes before the show when people were seating themselves. The sound system they had there was actually pretty impressive too.. A lot of teens and adults were randomly standing from their seats and dancing to the music as it was playing. o_o I couldn't believe how many young people were there.. And I don't know why, but half or most of the people there were Asian despite it being a company originally made by Caucasians. There were so many that they even had to have a Mandarin translator speak through a speaker on the side.. o_o)
But I did learn more about the company that my dad was in, as well as learning more of how the business and products made such a difference for a lot of people, young and old. I also tried a lot of products myself through my dad and some of his friends, so I could say that they do make good quality products. But I don't know if I'm going to go into this business like my dad and his friends want me to, since it's like being an entrepreneur, by selling products from the company in a certain field like cosmetics, skins care, etc. And I don't have enough experience with all their products yet, so I'm still in the process of trying out more of them before I decide on anything for certain. However, some of their nutritional solutions and skin care products, have been pretty beneficial to me, so I think I may be interested in considering it some day. Maybe..
I definitely didn't eat the best during this trip, because it was extremely long hours trapped on the bus with nothing but snacks, water and a bathroom with no sink. O_O So not only did I have to refrain from drinking too much, but I had to try and endure until we finally stopped at a place to eat and for restrooms. The bus was so packed and we had to almost randomly sit anywhere because when we first boarded, there were already a lot of belongings put on the seats with no people there yet. I had to sit on the outer seat next to someone I never met before, since there was nowhere left, but the people there were really nice, so it wasn't too bad. The only bad thing was that when I wanted to listen to music, the bus's engine and air conditioner was so loud that I would have to turn the music up high just to be able to hear it. X_X So not only did that drain my batteries quicker, but most likely the people around me could hear the music blasting out of the earphones... >_> x_x I also felt that the environment in there was just not good for drawing.. It was such a business-like environment that it would feel awkward to just start drawing while they were talking through the mic on the bus about the company... So unfortunately I hardly made much progress in the art department during this trip... But I did, however, try to draw on the last day when my batteries were completely dead, but the ideas didn't come out as I would have liked it, and the bus kept shaking and going through bumps a lot too..
And for the hotel room, we had to squeeze 4 people into 1 room. X_X That means sharing one bathroom and two beds... That was a first for me, but it's a good thing they split them by gender.. I still felt a bit uncomfortable sharing a bed with someone other than a relative.. (so much that I slept closer to the edge of the bed.. XD) But I guess by the third day I got more used to it when we got to talk to each other more. But sometimes when I come out of the bathroom from a shower, the husband of the girl sharing the same bed as me would be there talking or eating with her, so that would be a bit awkward.. >_>
But on another random note, on the third night at the hotel, the girl in the same bed as me was changing channels, while I was also watching it, since I didn't want to sleep yet. And when she came across a children's show where there was these funny looking characters doing a weird dance and singing, she started saying, "Ohh man! That's crazy man!" (in this Asian accent and half asleep tone) So I started cracking up, because I thought the characters were really funny too. She also sang along to the songs and clapped along with it all excitedly, and I couldn't help but laugh. When that show was over she was determined to find another funny show with crazy characters in it, so she could sing along some more. The fact that she was already married made this even funnier somehow. XD She was supposed to attend another speech about the company held in a room in the hotel (which I didn't want to go, since it was in Mandarin and I don't understand that language when they begin to talk about technical things, so I wasn't going to go). But when two people from our bus knocked on our door and came looking for her, she hid in the closest when I answered it, because she didn't want to go either. XD She was also really exhausted from all the speeches and talks and wanted a break from it. So I decided to play along with her and pretended that I didn't know where she was when they asked about her.. XD I don't know if I should have played along, but she was thanked me for covering for her after they left and went back to the tv. XD I guess this was just one of the little things I actually liked out of the whole trip, but the other things were rather close to mind torture for a younger newcomer into this whole business. I guess I did get to meet some really nice people on this trip, so it wasn't exactly as horrible as I thought it would be. But maybe the bus and speeches experience was just how I thought it would be or a bit worse..
Wow, I don't know why I wrote this much about the trip... lol.. I could write even more about it, but it might turn into a novel or just put people asleep, so I'll stop now. XD I just felt that I needed to get most of this off my chest.. I just have no idea what to do with myself anymore... One part of me is saying to go into this business after all that 'brainwashing' and the other part is just saying to go back to drawing like I used to... But my mind is in this state of trying to recover from all that madness that it might take a bit.. And to make it all worse, I have to start my classes again on the 25th... But I'll try to finish my Gray theme, since that might go perfectly with my mood now...
On another random note, I recently just got the DVD of Edward Scissorhands. A very good movie indeed. I saw it many years ago, but totally forgot the story, so I decided to buy it, since it was sale. (Can you believe for $5 at Walmart? >_> XD)

GOOOOO ZELDA!!!!!!! ^^ LOL
Heres the dialog
"What are you doing?"
"Getting ready..."
"Getting ready for what?"
"Intercourse"
"INTERCOURSE!?Wait...Can two guys do that?"
"...."
That was hilarious!!! XDDD That was so cute though XDDD Yep I watched both seasons in two days. That was funny XD Hiroki and Usagi look so cute when they were kids! XD I love UsagixMisaki XD That couple was so cute! But Misaki should just admit his love already.... I know he did but that was only what? Twice? Did you ever watch Gravitation? I only watched one episode... You know my step brother was off from work for 5 whole days so he decided to watch Naruto shippuden. He's almost done with that XD He watched almost all of the episodes! I thought that was so funny XDDDD Ah I now know my favorite artist for Yaoi doujins! Ootsuki Miu. Her drawings are so cute XD
And that's such a funny convo!! XDDD Yea, Misaki is really stubborn when it comes to admitting his love for Usagi.. I almost feel bad that Usagi is always the one to say it. XD Misaki did admit it maybe twice, but it was either not loud enough for Usagi to hear (and he's way too stubborn to repeat it for him XD) or was done when he was pushed to the limit. XD But I oddly like Miyagi x Shinobu a lot too, although they rarely show them at all! T_T Maybe it's the fact that I think Shinobu is just so adorable and I'm also in love with his voice, since he's also Kaname's voice actor from Vampire Knight. XD And hearing a more innocent version of it just makes me love him more. XD And yea, I watched all of Gravitation and even the OVA (which is quite different art-wise XD). But I can't believe your step brother is almost done with Shippuden and just about the whole series. XD I wonder how many episodes it will go up to.. o_o Do you think Bleach will be longer? XD And I don't think I've seen any of Ootsuki Miu's works before, but my favorite artist for yaoi doujins might have to be Ayano Yamane and Masara Minase, XD although their works are more 'explicit' rather than cute. XD I do love Azumi Tohru's works too, even though she does more artbooks with some shounen-ai content rather than yaoi doujins, but her style is really cute too. XD
That's unfortunate that you could not draw much at all. I find it really hard to draw when/if people are looking, especially those who don't have an interest in manga/ anime.
And have you seen this vid before? It's a male and female fandub of Romeo and Cinderella with KaitoxMiku! XD I was soooo surprised and happy to find this, o-o but I can't believe it didn't get 5 stars. XD [link]
And omg, Kaito doing the Project Diva Yaranaika song in a night time setting (they finally have him sing it this time XDD).
