Yes, I decided to do this too! :XD: (not easy to choose just 4 drawings for each year.. XD)

I saw this meme flooding my inbox from mostly ALL the artists I'm watching, o_o XDD so I thought about it and realized this was a really good idea, to see if I really did improve through the years.. >_> XD

Originally for 2003-2009, but I even went a bit into 2002 for the heck of it! XDD (This also gives me a good opportunity to show you older drawings I would probably never have put up at all. XD)

I noticed I didn't have many huge improvements, because I literally had to shift doing pixel art with my mouse in MS Paint (which I was so used to back then XD) to using a tablet in different programs for bigger and more realistic drawings... So it was almost like re-learning how to draw in a different way and method.. ^^;

Although I was good at recreating images, I had a tough time coming up with my own.. I suppose after some years, I gradually was able to create some originals through much mind-blowing brainstorming... DX Most of my drawings were heavily fanarts through the years, even though I wish I could have taken my original characters a bit further..

I also just noticed while going through my folders that for the original characters in the second drawing for 2007, I actually named the blonde guy, Kaito. :omg: XD (This was before I even knew about the vocaloid Kaito or vocaloids at all. o_o XD) I had no idea until I saw their names written on their drawings just now. XDD I think I made up their names so randomly back then that I almost forgot I even gave them names. XDD What a huge coincidence that I would come across THE Kaito the following year. XDD And speaking of that drawing, they're actually of 4 characters I made up for my site layout, which were specially based on a card playing theme. XD I named the layout "Devil Dealers," because all the guys had 'devil' wings (except for the girl XD). I was actually thinking of putting up the full versions of those drawings here a while ago, but I misplaced certain characters at that time. But since I've just found them all today along with their profiles (which were long forgotten o_o), I think I'll put them all up soon! XD

I would love to see you guys do this meme too! ^^

Uwa, epic improvement! You've inspired me to do this! You really changed your coloring styles for the better! May I ask where you got the program SAI though, it seems a lot better than photoshop!

I just have one question, how do you upload pics from SAI? I mean, I turn it into a jpeg file, but dA can't process it for some reason? Do you know why is it like that?

I think something like that happened to me before.. It could possibly be because it's the trial version, so they disabled certain features.. (I'm not exactly sure though...) But ever since that happened to me once, I've been either saving as .bmp or png. You can definitely save it as a .png file and have it show up on dA. If it doesn't, let me know.
